Princess Katie and Racer Steve come to New Hampshire


I have mentioned them before, but I just wanted to remind you that there is something super fun to do with the kids in NH this weekend. The Lebanon Opera House is hosting Princess Katie and Racer Steve.

It is not often that we get fun shows like this for the kids here in NH, so you really should take advantage of it. Tickets are inexpensive. They even offer a family pass for only $20 which is for 1 adult and 2 kids. Seriously, what can you do with 2 kids for $20? I don't even think you can take them to McDonalds for that.

Anyhow, my girls love their CD and DVD. Princess Katie and Racer Steve actually gave me one to give away. All you have to do is recommend some music to me that my girls will love. What do your children listen to? What gets their little booties shakin'?

On our list? Beatles, Jimmy Buffet, Dan Zanes and, in just the past 2 days, my wonderful friend, C. introduced us to the new They Might Be Giants CD (which is Fantastic.)

Give me a good recommendation and I will give away Princess Katie and Racer Steve's Fast & Feisty CD on Saturday.

  1. I teach pretty young kiddos, first grade, but I really like Frank Leto's CD's and so do they!!!

  2. Bear loves jamming out to music. He likes the classic Raffi and pretty much anything Champ and I listen to. We were recently at a friends house and she played us an album of children (and a few adults) covering Beatles songs. it was awesome! Can't remember the name, but I so want to get my hands on it.

  3. My not-quite-two-year-old asks for Bob (as in Bob Marley) everytime we get into the car. And now we have added Hey Jude (and only Hey Jude) to the play mix.

  4. If you're looking for more kid oriented mustic, the Lauri Burkner songs are great. Nate loves them. He also loves the Disney soundtracks. I haven't listened to They Might be Giants in Foerever! I love me some Triangle Man!
