Annika (overheard while I was in the other room): Daddy, this tea set is the best Christmas present EVER!
Awww, she melted my heart. I bought that tea set at Goodwill this summer for $5 because I just knew she'd love it. She has played with it every single day since Christmas, pulling it out, setting it up, making the tea... and then after she is done, she washes it all in the sink and puts it neatly back in its box.
It's the small things that make them happy that make me happy.
